I think that is extremely rare. Seems like in the early early days very few people were confident it would prove to be the best monetary system we’ll ever have, and instead gave it away/lost it/traded/shitcoined/bailed/etc
I had a friend who has 8 BTC , lost his password. Never thought it would go anywhere.
My dad said he had Bitcoin on Coinbase before he got dementia around 2014.
Could have had a few whole coins but he can't even remember his phone# now let alone a multitude of logins, user IDs or passwords.
Mom naughty $20 on Coinbase in Dec 2017. Somehow disappeared. Must be confiscation through inactivity???
I know someone who bought a whole coin on shitcoinbase when it was a few thousand $ but used his work email for the account from a job he left long ago and they wouldn’t let him back in no matter how much he verified his identity, and he eventually just gave up 😳
At 200$ I though I was too late... I didn't understand it like I do today. I wasn't stacking at first, at that time I bought and sold to participate in decentralization and the spread of Bitcoin.
