Motorbikes work great in dense countries where they are the predominant form of traffic on the road. India, Indonesia, Vietnam - they work well there.

They are a deathwish in countries where traffic systems were designed around cars. ie the UK, US, Aus.

Lookup the crash/death rates by country by vehicle type and stats will bear this out. It’s obvious when you think about it too.
