What I want to know is... is it a coincidence that this new wave of seed phrase spam arrived just hours after this instigation on my post, or was it in reaction to it?

nothing to do with your posts, i've been seeing these new LLM based spambots appear for maybe two days now
and as i always point out, this wouldn't happen without free/cheap relay access and the only way to stop this is paid and private/personal relays with access control, which is why i'm building my own form of easy to configure access control for exactly this reason (and it also limits bandwidth usage by not sending you events authored by npubs you mute, btw)
