Any established business or corporation is going to find it hard to reinvent themselves. Existing processes, systems & people will slow them down.

Yeah I think the opportunity to actually take the existing business and optimise is going to be incredibly fraught.
My preference, especially in Aus, would be smallish niche already established with solid customer contracts and proven business model then grow aggressively.
