so, what i’m seeing is that, bailing out banks and corporations with our taxes is okay, but helping people who are struggling is wrong?

if our money is already going to bullshit that we don’t want, why are we so against helping the less fortunate?

it’s so obvious that politicians want you to be against helping the poor in any way, and you are all seemingly falling for it.

Well I guess how much are you paying in taxes ?

Social Security and medicare are the 2 biggest budget expenses from the government and the poor benefit the most from them

You can burden the spending on people who can't escape it.

You can't burden the spending on people who can.

Both are theft. Voluntarism and a hard money supply are the only real solutions imo.

We’ve seen what happens over the last 3 years when you flood the system with money. UBI would just destroy the incentive to work entry level positions or in the service industry (see restaurants last 3 years with 2 servers covering 30 tables). Yes, those jobs might suck, but if we didn’t inflate away low wage positions, they would make livable wages.

That being said, I’m for UBI at this point and accelerationism because that’s not my currency of choice.

My wise friend, who is not rich lol

a genuine question i also do not have an answer too

Two wrongs dont make a right. Our taxes are stolen from us to help the oligarchy, not to help the poor. If you want to help the poor donate to charity. Forced altruism is cancer, involuntary actions cannot be moral.

Because politicians do work for whom they get bribes from. And the poor dont have money and coordination to bribe.
