"Don't spend your bitcoin" & "We need a circular economy" sound like they're conflicting statements. They're not.
If you can pay for something in Bitcoin, use a Bitcoin-only onramp like Strike (my current favorite), Swan, or Bitcoin Well to buy the Bitcoin and then send it from there.
The reason I like Strike--thank you nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle!--so much for this is that this is all easily done over Lightning.
Yes, settlement for the Bitcoin purchase takes a while--thanks fiat world!--which means that you will need to keep "enough" Bitcoin in your Strike account to cover the actual payment.
For me, keeping a "wallet" amount of money on Strike perpetually is worth the ease of use and the ability to contribute (in my small way) to beginning the circular economy in Bitcoin.
(If only they were giving me "DCA" credit for my automatic paycheck buys...)
