I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly. Initially, Keychat only supported seed phrase, using one seed phrase to derive multiple Keychat IDs. Later, many people wanted to add nsec login. They wanted to use the same ID Npub on both Keychat and Damus.
what do you gain by using your regular npub since you only see the chats you generate in keychat (eg you don’t see your timeline)? Do I miss anything?
