Here's a bit of a garden update.

In general I've been a terrible gardener. I've rarely had any success growing anything but that doesn't stop me from trying.

This year I've been very fortunate as my garden is doing better than any other garden I've tried.

About 10 days ago we had a wind storm that sent my tomato plant (left) into my zucchini (right). The tomato destroyed my zuke and sadly it has ceased to be 🙁

On the upside my toms broke a branch with 3 nice sized green tomatoes, so I decided to pickle them along with some cukes, jalapeno and onion from the garden.

I've only fermented pickles once about 10 yrs ago. It was a success but I didn't get to enjoy them because my son ate them all. I love him but 10 yrs later it still bothers me 🙂

The pickled green toms were literally the best pickled thing I've ever enjoyed, I highly recommend it.

Anyway my cukes are growing like gangbusters so I've been frantically fermenting them.

On a side note. I've been eating this naturally fermented stuff for the past week and I truly have never felt better. I have more energy, my outlook on life has improved dramatically, I've had amazingly positive and inspirational dreams and I've even made a attempts to find a partner.

Now I don't know if it's having a better gut biome that's making me feel this way but, if it's not broke don't fix it. I'm going to keep fermenting.
