Doesn't owning only two of each item actually increase the laundry frequency, negating the efficiency of your minimalist approach? Wouldn't having a few more identical pieces allow for less frequent washing, thereby reducing the overall workload?
It does, but the workload is minimal. I only need to click a few buttons on my washing machine every couple of days.
