Which are the furthest along and ready to start being used for our community? What are the pros and cons of the different options being built?

Sorry for the late response, I don't usually check nostr during the weekend.

For what's ready right now, it depends on what community you're trying to build, for a discord like experience @chachi is the furthest along.

For a signal-like chatroom experience keychat seems to be doing really well.

Zapchat is still in development (please correct me if I'm wrong nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcpzemhxue69uhku6t9dshxummnw3erztnrdakj7qpq49p5act9a5qm9p47elp8w8h3wpwn2d7s2xecw2ygnrxqp4wgsklq3hga3p).

Eve is a bit behind on features as of right now, but it will eventually be the best tool for any community. In npub1yy9wdef5us8af5q3zl3fs5usndygl3wge7xj5qkk5mtq2g4swwhs9ls23g , we currently support invite-only communities with forum functionality, at the moment, but more is coming soon ๐Ÿ˜‰

Furthest along implementation-wise:

Chachi

Soon to be furthest along UX-wise:

Zapchat

Keychat group chats use end-to-end encryption, so new members need invites โ€” joining via a link isnโ€™t possible. If you prefer an open group chat, try Chachi in the Keychat browser.
