Joseph Goebbels is historically credited as the father of state propaganda and mass manipulation, but nothing could be further from the truth.

The father of state propaganda was Andrei Zhdanova during Stalin's regime.

The phrase “A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth” is falsely attributed to Joseph Goebbels and there is no evidence that it was his, but there is evidence that it was communism that put these ideas into practice.

Both the Communists and the Allies, during and after the Second World War, devoted themselves to attributing to the Nazis the crimes they themselves were committing.

I would trase the roots of state propaganda in Bolsheviks regime prior to Stalin. Lenin who was the the key person from the beginning understood this well and all the actions of communists were covered with lies from the start. I am not sure if Lenin was the orchestrator of propaganda or someone else on behalf of him but Stalin is later.

Now, every regime needs its own narrative to organize the people. Russians had theirs, Germans hed theirs, Americans, Brits, French, you name it. But the history is written by the victors and the buctors are the good one in this version of history.

This historical anomaly, i.e., thinking that the victors were the good guys, is what has brought about the failure of today's society, we are simply governed by psychopaths.

The crimes committed by the Nazis were magnified and the crimes committed by the Allies were minimized.

That's why people with common sense realize things like:

- NATO is an aggressor organization.

- The un is a corrupt organization.

These two organizations have never looked after the interests of Europe.

From something bad only bad things are projected.

And the modern propagandist and mass manipulator is Edward Bernays, author of the book "Propaganda".

Here is a short example of his tactics

Excuse me, as an Englishman I'm offended. Hitler wrote how British propaganda outclassed the germans in WWI.

In old England we have the curious case of Bloody Mary, and then there's the Guy Fawkes plot, which had people celebrating the survival of the state.

If you feel offended it is your problem not mine, Churchill was worse than Hitler and the Anglo-Saxons have made real slaughters around the world including Germany in the second world war.

You are aware of Churchill's crimes, good to hear.

Not Amglo-Saxons. City of London, and mercenaries. Saying "Anglo-Saxon" makes you sound Russian.

Starting in the early 1900s in South Africa against the Boers…
