It’s strange but I’ve never been able to do audiobooks. I had a developmental delay as a child and have auditory processing problems to this day.

Any conversation where I can’t read lips requires my complete undivided attention. I think it’s why I ended up a writer. Visual was all I had.

understandable i think. to be fair audiobooks, properly consumed, also require focus, but it's a completely different species of attention. i'm not surprised some people find it to be a no-go.
