Bitcoin made all of the above the way it is.
They had a very slow brew approach to their CBDC world. But that's because there was no alternative option accessible to the general populace.
After 2008? We have had BTC. So, what used to be a plan that evolved at an appropriate speed (like watching a seedling grow in real time - you never even notice it grow as it's growing in front of your eyes) they now have to crank up the rate (timelapse) and that's why people can see it, feel it and taste it in real time now. And their transition don't feel good at this rate.
This is my worry. They are ushering in a system that is corrupt, at way too quick a pace. Older technologically unsavvy generations will suffer and die out quickly if their plan succeeds on a half baked way. Regardless, elites don't care. They have mlney and their own police if they want.
Us? Without necessary adjustment - will be just as fucked - except we will endure and stretch that suffering out until we inevitably die. Grim outlook I know. But thinking this way the past 5 years hasn't let me make a bad decision in that time span. My life is much better... financially... then it ever has. So I'm gonna stick with it.
