Amethyst 0.37.1: Zap Forwarding

Ready to send NIP-94 and NIP-95 to the Play Store?

- Adds Zap Address preference to the zap event tag

- Zaps note-tags before user info

- Enables raw URL uploads with warnings.

- Prunes NIP-95 data from memory when pausing the app.

I don't quite understand what this version would do with my uploaded pictures for friends using another client.

Is it safe to install or will it make my pictures disappear?

Nah, this version allows both, regular image uploads and Nip94.

You can choose to use regular urls or verified content. It depends on what your friend's client implements.

Can you explain how the zap forwarding works? It's not intuitive, at least to me.

When you add a person or a lightning address to that field, all Zaps are sent to that user instead of yourself.

Behind the scenes, the note includes a lightning address. If the lightning address is there, clients that support this feature send to that address first. Otherwise, they send the zap to you.

Got it. I was looking for somewhere to add an amount. So that note will always forward zaps to the LN address entered. 👍
