Framed #774 (lol, no. I have woken up in moderate pain*. I think unprompted. I don't think it is necessarily going to last but it's primarily my shoulders and neck. It's hard explain but it's akin to the feeling of been severely bruised, without visible signs of being severely bruised. That's the auto-immune bit in my case - in a nutshell there is an interplay between immunoglobulin A and T-Cells where they decide there's an infection, when there isn't - in this case where muscles connect to bone. So it inflames like I've got the flu and attempts to add some bone. Vertebrae can fuse. It hurts to lift my arms, shrug and very much so looking left and right. The logical thing to do would be to say "fair enough, I won't look left or right, shrug, or lift my arms too much"; I'm not Italian, I'm not going to lose nuance, but that is nearly the complete opposite of what I'm supposed to do. I'm not supposed to stretch or workout to the point I'm making it worse but I'm supposed to go against instincts, gently stretch and exercise. I have had professional advice. Which I'll have to do. It does help and improve things. It is extremely distracting. Sitting or standing or lying down makes it worse and it just hurts. At this rate I won't be able to moan properly about olive oil prices, gripe about bastardised versions of my cuisine, and form a complicated coalition government. I'm basically alright though. I've had a few decades of this, it can be, and has been, far worse but I'm used to it. It'll pass.)
