Indeed too much hassle for me. Still I am using it, but not that happy with it. I think Google photos will be the next one I will replace by something else.

Thanks. I've seen it a couple of times already but have to take the time deeply. There are some dependencies such as watching photos as tv screensaver and home assistants, sharing, face recognition. And I would like to store them automatically externally too, so when a local hard drive fails for whatever reason I won't loose my photos.

Dunno about the screensaver. All these other features are in there already. Been using it for the past year.
It has memories too and there's an api so screensaver options are definitely available.
