I took $310 (I didn't expect full price obviously they have to have room for profits and such) worth of MTG cards to a card shop in my area to sell them and they offered me $51.53....

Yeah, at least in my experience, most car shops are pretty damn money grubby and we'll definitely try and fuck you on those kind of sales. But they also know that it's a pain in the ass to go and try to sell the rare and expensive cards on eBay or some other site.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
