We don't indeed. But even despite the huge clash, it didn't cause massive drama on Nostr like that GitHub issue. Which is funny when the core userbases of fedi and Bluesky are basically the same.

Also worth noting, on semi-decentralised federated social media like Mastodon, you can block entire instances. So even with this bridge you could block entire domains because you don't like some users on it. Happens all the time on Mastodon.

We lack that filter here, we just have to block the entire fedi bridge from our feeds, which is actually a shame because there are chill people on there I still follow on Nostr. A lot of them run their own instances. Usually Pleroma rather than Mastodon tho. Same protocol, Pleroma is just cheaper to host, more customisable, and is usually where based people hang out.

Ironically the people you really don't want (actual Nazis and shit) are more likely to use Mastodon just to troll.
