Specifically, I hate the annoying zap streams on the home feed and there's no option to turn it off, this and other comments from the devs over time which show they don't respect the screen as a space belonging to the user and think they have a right to display 'important' popups. I expect this to get worse as nostr features increase.

Battery life has also tanked after the update but I'm sure that will get fixed soon

For me nostr is all about user control, choosing *exactly* what you want to see and what you don't. Right down to the font colour, why not.

The Internet used to be filled with all kinds of tools, browser extensions, grease monkey scripts etc to make sites right for you and is what I want to flourish again. This 'app' culture led by devs and company design is crap and stifling.
