Holes are very interesting in that they dont exist. Its the absence of something that makes a hole.

That is very true! Does absense itself exist?
But is a bagel without a hole still a bagel?
Does cold really exist?
Absence of heat. Same.
I take it back. Cold is a lack of heat, but not necessarily the absence of it. A cold temperature of -10 degrees is still holding considerable warmth... it's like attempting to put a hole in fabric by thinning it... but it's not really a hole until there is an absence of fabric in the space we call the hole.
So, maybe absolute zero is the hole. I dunno. Maybe not the same though.
If you put a hole in a net, are there now more or less holes in the net?
A hole is a region of discontinuity, and a net is made of an array of holes, so a hole in a net is a region of discontinuity of discontinuities, and we all know the negative of a negative is always positive, thus a hole in a net is a solid section through which nothing may pass.
