I don't know how hard this would be to develop, but perhaps a content creator discovery section. In order to not fall into the pay-to-play issues that other socials have, perhaps content creators can *join* that section and those in the pool are promoted at random.

When they appear, they can be identified by their profile and the kind(s) of content they create. Promotions can rotate daily and may either be random groupings of content creators or organized by content type (Ex: Monday promotions are three fine artists, Tuesday promotions are three photographers, etc)

Really late night comment before sleep, had to comment on this. I think you're on to something with this. Combine this with my note about moving away from celeb profiles to more interest/topical based hashtags in the on-boarding process and we might get something workable to help creators and fix nostr retention, imo. Kind of a simple rotational soft algo promoting different communities and creators. People need education as to what's on here in terms of niches

Yeah I think it needs a little ironing out but could be a neat feature. I'm sure whatever solutions nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z

decides to implement, they will be great.

I love your idea of an on-boarding process including topic-based hash tag suggestions.
