But I had to convince my family to get on Google photos and now I'm the only person talking about self-hosting. They're too tech illiterate to discover new tools on their own. They need a little bit of a nudge.
The education must be there for when people are ready. But with something like bitcoin and nostr, it doesn't need much convincing.
When the time is right the individual will get on board... because they won't really have a choice.
Not only tech. All of lifes wisdom must be remembered and can't be transported or enabled by teaching or even worse by convincing.
