Coco de Mer - The National Fruit of Seychelles
The coco de mer is a unique palm tree species known for producing the largest and heaviest seeds in the plant kingdom, with seeds weighing up to 30 kilograms (66 pounds).
It is native to the islands of Praslin and Curieuse in the Seychelles. The coco de mer is also famous for the distinctive, suggestive shape of its fruit, which resembles a woman's pelvis, adding to its intrigue and rarity.
