It’s astounding to be how it’s been made out to be such a hard task to code a toggle and some text explaining what you’re doing.

I agree. I’ve been using plebstr and I like it but it does some censoring too, but there are no settings or even a brief explanation as to how it works.

What censoring does it do?

Serious question. I want to see if I can reproduce it. I won’t be recommending it anymore if they are.

Sorry, I was looking for my recent post about it but couldn’t find it lol, I dunno if it’s because I deleted some relays.

I found the post though, it’s behind a warning saying it contains “rory” (?) for no apparent reason. nostr:note1nz3lvtvxpq7f0p0gydy2xaz4y76du4rd9jw89crur8tp7ywgtnmqw86djy

Oh wait, I just realised maybe he set that content warning? I’m not sure tbh.

Yes, he did. It’s in the JSON of the message.

Ok yeah, so the image is marked as nsfw on fedi. I was just confused because fedi will only hide the image, not the entire post.

I guess ol gleason’s bridge brings that over. The tag is for the whole post on Nostr I believe.

Not on Damus, which hides nsfw images but you can’t nsfw the ones you post lol. That was also part of the confusion tho.

Yeah, it’s up to the devs how to implement, I just meant the json tag doesn’t really seem to indicate what should have the content warning.
