Agreed, meek does not mean a doormat. I've always said I don't want to be the loud, abnoxious person in the bar proclaiming my greatness. I'd much rather be the person in the corner doing my thing while the others say about me "Don't mess with him, you'll lose"

that requires them knowing how they will lose. which means at some point, hopefully just once, you have to do something big.
