My point being, everything has gone to shit. How many of them were filmed in the past 10 or 15 years??

I think that's the problem. If you list best shows in past 10 years it's hard 😅. I did enjoy the Fallout TV show but lot of the story telling was recycled from the games..
Fallout is interesting but like you said recycled.
