The sharks are currently overproducing & global climate change is causing them to reproductive at rapid rates along the Atlantic Ocean shores & attack human beings.
Fishing boats have licenses, so it's not like tons of people are going into the ocean & killing shark populations.
It's a highly regulatory fishing job with lots of details in volved, ya' dig.

The New York shores are highly regulated by the Environmental sector & sharks are reproducing at a rate so high that humans can't even swim on the beaches. I've been swimming these oceans for decades, what about you?
I'm a poor man that didn't have a chance with a career. Because I was to busy out here trying to survive.
