ฟังชั่น hold_invoice ใน lnd สามารถใช้นำมาต่อยอดเป็นระบบ p2p บน Lightning ได้ และมีตัวอย่างการนำไปใช้ในหลายกลุ่มหลายประเทศเช่นตัวบอทเทเลแกรมตัวนี้ แต่ว่ามันยังต้องการ "กรรมการ" มาตัดสินตามหลักฐาน หากมีข้อโต้แย้งในการซื้อขายเกิดขึ้น
