😅 a very rare intrusive thought. How long did you use relaxer for? Funnily enough I’ve only had chemical straightener for two years of my life (from 2006- 2008) I was 10 and my parents let me because somehow they knew I’d get over it, which I did very quickly at the time.

12-40! My mom allowed me to get a relaxer at the age of 12. I turned 40 and decided to rock my natural hair without the chemicals. I love it. But shrinkage is real! Your afro is fluffy! And beautiful! Mine is more tightly coiled.
