Ironically, I spent two years at school sitting right next to a self-professed terrorist; nowadays, he is a professional 'activist', obviously, and mainstream-media talking head, representing the Muslim voice on the BBC, Financial Times, LBC Radio etc... Terrorism can sometimes be just one step on the rocky road to success. Personally, I find it impossible to believe anything political nowadays, and Maajid was one of many reasons that I stopped believing in that clown-show.
