That pistol is not the safest for the owner.
The USAF should have stuck with the 1911 in .45acp or moved to the Glock 17 in 9x19mm.
The Beretta has too soft a steel in the barrels and wears out quick. The Glock has a good balance of capacity and longevity. The 1911 is a work horse and my favorite. Post certified on both with a perfect score. I bet my life on them.
My duty gun is a Glock 17. My EDC off duty is the 1911.
