If someone reposts the Heard Island tarrif as a Got Ya because no one lives there, you're not talking to someone serious.

Are there a number of businesses incorporated there? Do companies route exports through there. I honestly don’t know - am trying to understand. Thx!

It's fisheries that would have a loophole otherwise. Countries don't pay tarrifs, businesses do

There is a fair amount of Patagonian toothfish caught in Heard Island waters.

Plus the tariff on Australian goods is 10%. If the tariff on goods from an Australian territory was lower, someone would find a way to take advantage of that loophole.
