Its funny, I only stumbled into the topic because I had seen "Professor" Dave and his usual bad-faith, insult-laden tactics before, so I was curious to see if it carried over to other topics. He has a unique ability to bring out the worst in people, so I enjoyed watching him get dismantled by someone with expertise in the field.

he definitely has some team or chatbot monitoring his comments. i called out his bullshit on an old video and shouted out Ken Wheeler, then "Dave" started talking shit to me. He eventually shut up when I called out how odd it was he was responding to my comments out of the sea of comments he supposedly gets, and how petty he was for doing so
I was going to mention that I wonder who propped up that clown to be so popular. It cannot be organic, they push his content above anyone who isn't on the side of his arguments.
I think it is a waste of peoples time to engage in debates with the guy. He is bad-faith, egotistical and has no respect for his "opponents". BUT, it is a good way to be pushed into topic you may otherwise not find, you know, like if something has a fact-check, there is a good probability that it's true.
