Wild watching shallow water pretty much follow air temps in its ups and downs. The sound is pretty warm right now. NOTE: this temperature sensor is only in about 2 feet of water off of our dock. But it is pretty warm out there. (air temp is red line, from a sensor we have on a mast about 40 feet in the air. Water temp is the blue line)

How is the water hotter than the air? Is this typical in your observations?

The water holds heat. Land will give off heat quicker. Also, our air temp sensor is about 40 feet in the air. SSO slightly cooler. But our water temp gets pretty hot in the summer.
