A good 5 years ago, installer suggested a heatpump with wi-fi and a phone app. I said "no, my heat pump is not going on the Internet. I am not going to manage another computer that needs updates all the time just to have a heat pump. Worse yet if it never gets updates."
If my heat pump doesn't post to nostr when I need to change my filter I don't want it!
