This isn't actually true because I send sats directly from my wallet and they don't have a zap-note attached and don't show up on band.

good info, i dont know how accurate it is either but i say its pretty accurate on my account
Mine is way off.
I also have multiple npubs, so not everything is listed under one.
Probably more accurate with smaller accounts that just shitpost, or something.

If you have sats, you're a bitcoiner. Might as well get used to the idea. :-)
But, yeah, some of us are swapping in Bitcoin into the Lightning system and spreading them on and off Nostr through zaps.
Someone has to do that, or there'd be no sats to zap.
And it's often people nobody has noticed and who aren't particularly wealthy. All those little people making little swaps adds up.
I guess we're zap-patrons.😊
