Pastured hens will find a bunch of their own bugs, greens, seeds, ect... If the pasture is good and they are moved often enough they can get all they need in season. They will often have grains available, but choose to not eat it.

My hens are in a coop and run that I keep deep bedding in because I'm trying to make a bunch of compost. They find a bunch to eat in the mulch that I pile up on occasion. I like to ferment the seeds I give them to help them get more out of it. I will sprout sunflower seeds for them. Many creative things to feed chickens.

On the best eggs, do you have an idea of the omega 6 and 3 contents?
