I think you can download installers from Apple, but in this case I'm installing from an original DVD.
you make me want to reinstall Redhat 8 (not RHEL!). Gnome 2 with Bluecurve theme was peak Linux desktop experience IMHO.

super cool! the oldest physical distro I still have is a Redhat 5 or maybe a Debian Woody from more or less 1998
don't wait another day: just fire a VM and install it right now! 😅 I'm downloading a RH8 ISO in this moment because I don't have any CD reader and just want to make a VM for it ❤️
My main computer is the steam deck at the moment, I still have to find a good VM solution there.
