Hydrogen infrastructure requires nuclear, IMO. For desalination and electrolysis.

Hydrogen fuel cells are amazing.

Hydrogen makes sense if you can keep local to power generation and storage. Hydrogen is really hard to reliably hold on to since it's so small.
