My Thinkpad running on debian turning 11 years now and works still for most things. Comes to an end just with modern monitors.
Would be interested wich Thinkpad you choosed and what you like and dislike about it.
X1 Carbon. I like the keyboard and color of the laptop. I had to apply tape over the red led on the back though, and could do without the little red thing in the middle of the keyboard, haha.
Been using Ubuntu for a couple years now. Going try migrate to LibreWolf for sites I got log into. Thanks for the recommendation. Been mainly using Brave that deletes all browser history cookies etc on close.
A lot of people have old laptops they throw out or never use again because they run soooo bad with the bloated Windows OS that came with it. They'd be amazed how well their old device runs Linux.
Manjaro no! It's a unstable distro anf source of manu problems.
