The person who is escaping censorship should bear the costs, not the person or organization providing the tools to bypass it.

On #nostr the exact opposite is true.

Wouldn’t paid relays solve for this? The censored would pay the fee to those relays willing to accept and broadcast that message.

Which relay is going to transmit notes of a terrorist organization? Which client is going to allow relays that transmit such notes?

We can get darker than that, but I think you get the point.

Delegating censorship resistance to humans obviously cannot work.

It has to be embedded in the protocol.
