I think he was paid to stay with bitcoin. Imagine checking out monero and then saying nah I don't need privacy for my stupid hat

there are plenty of equally intelligent folks sticking with bitcoin

also

plenty of folks who think that hat is fire, and my hat (not a stetson) is stupid
