Trans is a not a new phenomenon. Been with humanity far before it became en vogue. Risk of suicide is roughly 40% — which is why this has historically been considered a mental disorder.
Regardless of how medicine or popular culture categorizes trans people, it is only natural to be careful with with such souls, knowing they will self terminate with an astoundingly high probability
Don’t be a dick. Be nice. Be an educated human.

It’s so much easier to treat each other with kindness. I can’t imagine the histories and burdens that some people carry; the last thing I’d want to do is add to someone’s suffering.
And on the other side of the same coin, when we ostracize or abuse someone for being different, it’s not only cruel; it also does all of humanity a disservice, by limiting that individual’s freedom to contribute and be their truest expression of self.
