#Xiaomi Begins to Block #Telegram in #China

With the release of MIUI 13 in 2022, the company added a new security feature to identify and block malicious software from running on devices.

Aimed at monitoring user activity and scrutinizing programs, it also limits freedom of speech. For instance, the system considers Telegram to be ”malicious.“

Xiaomi is one of the international sponsors of the war, and despite Russia‘s aggression in #Ukraine, the company continues to operate and expand its business in #Russia.

miui is one of the most malicious software in a phone. Root your phone and check the apps. It's bascially ba rootkit that can only be removed by completely new rom. But i will be surprised if their phone didn't have data collection and transmission at chip level so no one can find out.
