If you just wanted to open Lightning channels, but the mempool is currently too full: Just wait.
The time will come when it will be cheaper again. In the meantime you are welcome to use my channels with my lnbits open to everybody:

this is a really good idea 👀
You beat me to it, was thinking about doing the same but when you start opening up you lnbits instance to othe plebs how are you going to manage a potential exit strategy in case you need to stop the service? How do you communicate with your users or refund?
Good question. My communication is over nostr and twitter (and of course dm‘s) but it‘s still a custodial solution. I recommend everbody to run a own node, if not, you have to trust. I don‘t have an exit strategy because at the moment there is no exit 🤣
If I have to: maybe similar like lntxbot
Would be nice if users could set an onchain address (above a certain amount) or Lightning address that the custodian could use in case of sunsetting the LNbits service. Users could than be asked once in a while to keep it up to date or confirm the exit transaction in their LNbits web wallet.
Users could also be reached by sending a 1 sat transaction to each LNbits wallet with a note attached including the date and additional instructions or URL where to find more information. This would allow the custodian to reach users who have connected the LNbits instance to their wallet using LndHUB.
Thanks for the opportunity. As my Blixt wallet has some hick-ups at the moment and idk if the devs will sort it out in time, I will use your offer as back-up for liquidity requirements the next week-end (CU there).
