Holy shit. The dumbing down of America to the lowest common denominator continues. I'm Washington State you no longer have to pass the bar exam to be a lawyer. The state supreme court decided the exam requirement is unfair because some people aren't smart enough to pass it.

The only thing worse than a good lawyer is a bad lawyer. If you ever need one in Washington State you'd better ask them to show you their bar exam certification.

I'm not OK with most state certification requirements. The government shouldn't be in charge of determining who can do what. That's not cool.
I support professional standards boards for most skilled professions, but they should be private orgs and not state run. Like ASE for mechanics.

Eliminating licensure is not the same as making the license requirements fake and gay
