To live below my means free of debt and usury on a #Bitcoin standard, or to take on fiat leverage to speculative attack the USD and gain more #Bitcoin.
This is the question.

The fiat system is so perverse that the second strategy might backfire on you.
All leverage definitely comes with risk, but taking on long term low interest debt in a currency that I am expecting to lose most of its value over the next 20-30 years seems like a safe bet.
On the other hand I like the idea of having peace of mind knowing that you are free of all debt obligations.
I got it from your note. I have had friends that had this strategy and would not pay off their debt in advance, because the interest rate was below inflation. Today after the explosion of their monthly payments they are not doing as well.
Of course fixed rates are better but they had variable rates.
The problem with the leverage option is that more bitcoin is not guaranteed. Leverage can become large losses.
