What's your bet it takes that long for NOSTR being banned on App Store?
I'd like to think that they wouldn't ban Damus or any Nostr app, but they would definitely make developers do content moderation to keep the apps alive in their store. I foresee that happening at some point.
i think that day is passing. Anti-trust looms, and they are opening up more. See the PWA and notifications release in most recent iOS. More to come I imagine.

That's possible. Maybe they'll loosen the reins a bit moving forward. We also saw a rumor that Apple was going to allow third party apps stores or something similar to sideloading, like Android, in the future.
Ironic that regulators are helping to save a company from itself.
I think we'll see side loading and third party rendering engines this year. Maybe RCS.
