Vivek Ramaswamy: US Republican Party candidate for (Vice) President. Darth Trumpious' padawan-apparent. He's wraps Trump's talking points in standard English grammar and 10000% larger vocabulary. He's got the same previous political experience (ie, none), 75% greater apparent humility, and is entirely lacking any federal or state criminal indictments. I heard him talk on the All-In podcast and thought, "OK, I don't agree with much of what he says, but at least he isn't a leering bully and can speak extemporaneously in complete sentences." Contemporary American politics has a very low bar, right? Anyhow, his debate performance last night was shouty, and a bit scarier. I'm not a doctor, but I would have prescribed him a lower dosage of cocaine or caffeine, and maybe upped the laudanum.
