We all get spaceships and can go zoom off and colonize the galaxy. Or people go into the pod. Or the robots never learn how to vacuum in which case my toddlers will keep them busy for a long time
Or 1% of humans get spaceships and zoom off, and the other 99% don't.

The robots can just keep making spaceships. I’m banking on at least one benevolent 1%-er who will hook the rest of humanity up. Also, most humans will be Amish by then so they’ll probably be fine just gardening.
Do we get to choose the spaceship people? I have a list.
